Ganesh, hand-carved and cast large enough to anchor a room. The Ganesh Folding Panel is a wide-format wall relief — the elephant-headed remover of obstacles rendered in raised detail, crown and ears and trunk catching light differently through the day.
Three colourways. Blue — deep indigo with gold relief, formal and still. Green — emerald and gold, the most traditional pairing, at home in a puja room or entry hall. White — pale ground with gold detail, lighter and more contemporary.
At 100cm across it reads as a single statement piece — hang it where the room needs a focal point: above a console, behind a shrine, or as the one thing on an otherwise bare wall. Hand-painted, with the same textured relief technique used across the panel family; no two pieces finish identically.
Element: Wood (Saur/Acacia wood — tropical hardwood)
Origin: Carved in Kathmandu by local artisans. Saur wood sourced from sustainable timber.
Care: Dust with a soft dry cloth. Do not use water or chemical cleaners. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight. If wood appears dry, apply teak oil or coconut oil with a cloth and absorb overnight. Keep away from moisture and high humidity. This is a sacred object in the Nepali Hindu tradition. Handle accordingly.
