A hinged, four-panel carved face — the Buddha rendered across four jointed wood segments that fold flat for storage or travel and open to a single continuous relief on the wall.
Two colourways. White/Golden — pale ground with gold detail, the lighter of the two. Golden — warm and monochrome, the deepest gold-on-dark read. Each panel is hand-painted with textured relief detail; no two pieces finish identically.
At 60×40cm it's a mid-scale piece — big enough to anchor a small wall, compact enough for an apartment entryway or a shelf above a console.
Element: Wood (Saur/Acacia wood — tropical hardwood)
Origin: Carved in Kathmandu by local artisans. Saur wood sourced from sustainable timber.
Care: Dust with a soft dry cloth. Do not use water or chemical cleaners. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight. If wood appears dry, apply teak oil or coconut oil with a cloth and absorb overnight. Keep away from moisture and high humidity. This is a sacred object in the Nepali Hindu tradition. Handle accordingly.
