Cow Wooden Figurine

A black and white cow. Mid-charge. Enormous orange nose. Completely unbothered by any of this.

The Cow Figurine is the most comical piece in the Shaman wooden animal range and it commits fully to that role. The body is compact, the legs are short, the horns sweep upward in dramatic curves, and at the centre of the face is a large, round, orange-painted nose that takes up approximately a third of the cow's visible face area. This is not accidental. This is a design choice. The painter knew exactly what they were doing when they applied that orange.

Hand-carved from wood and hand-painted in classic dairy cow colouring — black patches on white — with the added detail of a small, precise face emerging from behind the nose: two small white-ringed eyes, short whiskers, a mouth. The cow is leaning slightly forward as if caught mid-movement, which gives the figure an animation that purely static poses lack.
