Capiz Ring Chandelier – Short

Each disc in this chandelier is a capiz shell ring — a shell with the centre removed, leaving a circular frame. These rings are layered and strung on a rattan bamboo frame, creating a chandelier with visual depth and an open, airy quality.

The hollow centre of each ring lets more light pass through than a solid shell chandelier, giving the room a lighter, more open feel. The rattan frame at the top adds a natural, handcrafted quality. Shell rings have long been used in coastal traditions to symbolise cycles, completeness, and the movement of water.
